Steps to create an Instagram account:
To create an Instagram account, the first step is to download the app. To download the app from the Google Play Store click here and from the Apple app store, click here. The process of creating an account is the same for Android as well as iOS.
After you have downloaded the app, the steps are as follows:
- Click on the Instagram app. Once you open the app, you’ll be seeing multiple options. The first one is Log In and in case if you’re new to Instagram, you need to click on Sign Up/ Create New Account.
- In Sign Up, you’ll be seeing multiple options again. The first one is to continue with your Facebook account. If you’re comfortable with creating an account with Facebook information, you can do that. It will ask you the email and password of your Facebook account. But if you’re not comfortable with that, then you can also click on the option that says “Sign Up With Phone or Email.”
- If you want to sign up with a phone number or email then tap on that option. In the case of email, put your email address, and in case of the phone number, simply put your phone number. Once you’ve entered the details, click on “Next”. Simply tap on “Create New Account” in case it’s asked.
- Now add your name and tap “Next”. Add your password, tap on “Next”. In the process, they will also send you a One Time Password (OTP), you need to put your code as asked. And voila! your account has been created.
