Step 1

Firstly, you need to download the Cortana app on your Android. You can download the Cortana app from the Play Store.

After setting up Cortana when you are done with the installation, you will be prompted to sign in using your Microsoft account. Don’t forget to connect the same account that is currently linked to your computer.

The stunning Cortana app welcome screen can be seen once you’ve finished creating and setting up your account.

Step 2

On the UI, locate the account icon in the upper right corner, and tap on it. Then, pick ‘Settings’ from the given choices.

Now turn on the Sync Notifications option from the following menu. By turning this on,  Microsoft enables you to view the device’s notifications on your Windows PC.

Step 3

Cortana will request your permission to access Missed Calls, Contacts, and even SMS on the following screen. You can approve each request, and you’ll be taken to the Sync Notifications page.

You may choose from a number of choices on the page, including App Notification Sync, Low Battery Alerts, and Missed Call Notifications. Also, you can customize each of them according to you and can receive their notifications on your Windows computer.

Step 4

To sync App Notifications, you must take an additional step. That is, you must enable this function if you want a notification on your Windows PC when a WhatsApp or Messenger message arrives. Click the toggle button to turn this function on.

You must provide Cortana Notification Access, as stated. You’ll be sent to the Notification Access page in a moment. By switching Cortana on, Digital Assistance will now have access to the apps in your device notifications.

When you return to the Cortana UI, you can choose which app notifications should be synced with one another. Simply choose the required apps, and Cortana will add them to the list.

  1. Firstly, install the Pushbullet app on your Android from the Google Play Store.
  2. Create a free account with Pushbullet by signing up with your email address or your Google or Facebook account.
  3. Install the Pushbullet extension for your web browser on your Windows PC. Click here to download its Chrome extension.
  4. Sign in to the Pushbullet extension using the same account you created in Step 2.
  5. In the Pushbullet app on your Android device, go to Settings and select Notification Mirroring.
  6. Turn on the Notification Mirroring toggle switch.
  7. In the Notification Access screen, turn on the Pushbullet toggle switch.
  8. Now, when you receive a notification on your Android device, it will also appear as a pop-up on your Windows PC.

You can customize which apps send notifications to your PC by going to the Pushbullet app on your Android device, selecting Notification Mirroring, and then selecting which apps you want to enable or disable.
