But, editing messages on WhatsApp after sending them would be possible in future WhatsApp updates. According to reports, after the update, you can edit your sent text message on WhatsApp.

WhatsApp has recently brought many updates including message reactions. You can react to messages on WhatsApp if you’ve updated the app. You can easily express your feeling by reacting to any photo or video using a number of emoticons.

While this editing messages feature on WhatsApp is still under development and soon it will be available for beta users. Also, WABetaInfo shared a screenshot related to this upcoming feature.

WhatsApp is currently working on this feature for iOS, Android and Desktop users. The screenshot shared by WABetaInfo reveals, that there is an edit button for text messages. It will let the users edit text messages after sending them.

With this feature, you can correct your mistake in already sent messages so easily. The option to edit the message is available inside the three dots menu along with info and copy. WhatsApp didn’t announce the official release date yet.

Also, WhatsApp is working on improving message reactions. As the feature isn’t available to every user except beta users. According to WABetaInfo, users can react to messages using the same emoji with different skin tones.
