The app includes a lot of templates for its users to use. By that I mean more than 50,000 templates to choose from and the best part about it is that it is free to use. Besides, it offers you paid subscriptions like Canva Pro and Canva for Enterprise for additional functionality.

Canva is a beginner-friendly app that helps you create your own design. If you’re new to graphic design, it offers you a free tutorial which is available on their website, as it can be overwhelming for first-time users. In addition to that, it is also easily accessible by phone, tablet, or computer. You can save a ton of time and money and also to create professional graphics without needing the help of professionals.
How to use Canva?
Lets see these easy-peasy things that we can do on Canva without being a professional-
Your first step is to create an account on Canva. You can sign up by simply adding your Google account. Or you can skip this step and simply start designing images. Any which way, you’ll see a page like this.
Now here you can see different options like presentation, social media, videos, print production, etc. Click on an icon of your choice. I’m going with social media to show you guys.
Here, you can see options like Facebook post, Instagram story, WhatsApp Status, and there are many more to choose from. Let’s go with Instagram story.
Now, you can choose any sort of template that you want to, change the text, write on the template, play around as you wish too. After you have made the template as per your requirement, save it. To save the template, click on the “Download” button, you can choose in which format do you want to download the file. And now it’s saved.
Features of Canva:
On the left-hand side, you can see templates, click on the one you want to use. If you have something specific in mind then you can also search it on the Canva search box. On the extreme left, you can see options like elements, uploads, texts, background, and more. Let us get into details:
We saw templates, now it’s time for Elements: Elements lets you add lines, shapes, frames, grids, audios, and most importantly logos of different brands or any signs to make your image look even more appealing.
Uploads: Uploads allow you to upload images, videos, or audio from your phone to Canva. You can use your phone’s images and upload them into any template of your choice.
Text: There are several different font styles which you will absolutely love. You can change the color and size of the font as per your choice. It also allows you to add heading, subheading, and a little bit of body text on images.
Background: From the name itself, it is clear that it allows you to change the background of any template that you might choose. You can also choose a blank template and put desired background as Canva has hundreds of available options.
Now that we have made our design, it’s time to save it. For that, click on the Download option and select your file type. It provides you with options to save your image in jpg, png, or pdf format.

With advantages, there comes limitation of things. This app is loved by most people but not so much by others. Let’s see some of that as well.
