At the beginning of COVID in India, 59 Chinese apps were banned in India including Xender and TikTok. Although those apps were very popular in India and many Indian users lost access to their accounts. When the Indian Government banned these Chinese apps, ByteDance needed to exit the Indian market. But, according to some reports, TikTok could relaunch in India. However, this news isn’t confirmed yet but it might be possible.

ByteDance is searching for business partners in India to regain its position in India. The company is seeking those who can help it out in finding the employees for the company’s growth.
The major reason why India banned Chinese apps was, data sharing. These apps were allegedly sharing Indian users’ data with China.
Although TikTok’s parent company is looking for solutions to run its business in India once again. Therefore, it is possible that TikTok might relaunch in India after 2 years of ban.

According to some sources, the company may follow the strategy followed by the PUBG. Krafton brought back PUBG mobile in the Indian market by changing the name and policy. TikTok might do this for entering the Indian market once again.
